Stunning in its simplicity, this vintage chair originates from west africa. low to the ground, as was traditional, this beautifully crafted piece of furniture has a heritage befitting a considered, sustainable home. The senufo - a tribe from the ivory coast in west africa – carved these ceremonial chairs using mixed woods then stained dark. this is an authentic tribal piece, the age of which is reflected in the excellent patina. Being less intricately carved than many other senufo chairs means that this piece would fit seamlessly into any interior.
